Print Shop or Print Master files
We cannot use
any of these program files. Therefore simply printout your graphics on a
letter size paper and follow the instructions for
Supplying your art on paper.
PhotoShop or Corel Photo-Paint
These are
bitmap programs which are very complex and difficult to use. Art work
created in these programs is seldom useful for printing t-shirts. They are
fine programs for creating graphics for process color printing,
manipulating and re-touching photographs, creating dazzling effects for
internet web sites
or for sending graphic files over e-mail and they are just plain out of this world when it
comes to impressing your friends and spouse.
However for
multi-color printing, spot-color separations are required. Since these bit
map programs do not output spot color separations easily, files created in
these bit map programs are useless.
However, there
is an exception; Art created for a single color printing may be submitted
in a bit map form, only if:
1) It is 300 dpi or
higher at final print size
2) It is submitted in Black & White format
(even if the final print color is
red or something else)
3) The art will be printed in only 1 color
4) The art is sent to us in JPG, BMP or TIFF format.
